There's a lot of benefits when you're a freelancer. Know why? You can set your own hours. You will not dress up like you're going to the office. You can decide whether your work is full-time or part-time. It was really comfortable ! Sometimes, everyone envies those freelancers. But what they don’t realize is freelancing isn’t free of stress.
Stress is always there, but how can we manage it? Can we really manage? Yes, don’t stress control you. Here some freelancing tips to keep you on track.
KNOW WHEN TO SAY NO
Usually when you start your freelancing career, you are eagerly trying to have a client. So you apply again and again. Well that’s normal. Let me say you already have a client, then unexpectedly the clients you’ve applied have come to you and want you to work for. What should you do? Proverb 14:15 “the shrewd one ponders each step”.
SET and THINK “if I accept this, do I still have time with myself, and my family? Does it really help having a lot of work ? ----- Then it’s up to you.
Don’t let your time control you.
SET YOUR SCHEDULE IN WORK
Freelancer has a flexible time. Setting a schedule is important to be productive. Yes, while you're working you have a deadline. If you procrastinate this you may lose your job because you have not provided the output by the deadline. Therefore, having your schedule at the top of your mind acts as a filter against distractions. If someone comes up to you while you’re working, you can ask them to come back later when you’ve finished a scheduled work. When you know that you’ve a set amount of scheduled time to do something, it allows you to stay focused so you can get everything done within a specific time. How does it make you feel? Feel better. Less stress.
Control your work.
SET TIME FOR YOURSELF
Take a deep breath, relax and enjoy. Do your hobbies. Do work out. Try walking in the sunshine it will help this to your body. Set aside the things that can distract you. Go with your family or friends. Doing this will help you not to be stressed.
